Quick Start
Follow these steps to go from zero to participating in TRTH on Base. Adjust amounts and interfaces to match the live app and your risk tolerance.
1. Set up a wallet on Base
Section titled “1. Set up a wallet on Base”Install a compatible wallet (for example MetaMask, Rabby, or Coinbase Wallet). Add the Base network:
- Network name: Base Mainnet
- Chain ID:
8453 - RPC: use an official or trusted provider (see Base docs)
- Currency symbol: ETH
- Block explorer:
https://basescan.org
For testnet practice, use Base Sepolia instead (chain ID 84532) and get test ETH from a public faucet.
Example (MetaMask): Settings → Networks → Add network → Add Base manuallyAlways bookmark official sites and verify chain IDs before signing transactions.
2. Get USDC on Base
Section titled “2. Get USDC on Base”You need USDC on Base to participate in Genesis (deposits are in USDC). Bridge or withdraw USDC from an exchange that supports Base, or swap another asset to USDC on Base using a DEX. Confirm the token contract is native USDC for Base, not a wrapped variant from another chain.
Keep a small amount of ETH on Base for gas on every step.
3. Connect to the TRTH app
Section titled “3. Connect to the TRTH app”Open the official TRTH frontend (link from verified channels only). Choose Connect wallet, select your provider, and approve the connection for Base (or Base Sepolia on testnet). Reject any prompt that switches you to an unexpected chain or asks for unlimited token approvals unless you understand why.
4. Participate in Genesis or acquire TRTH
Section titled “4. Participate in Genesis or acquire TRTH”- During Genesis: deposit the amount of USDC you intend to commit, following the app’s caps and deadlines. After finalization, TRTH is batch-distributed pro-rata via permissionless
processBatch(no separate user claim for Genesis TRTH). - After Genesis / secondary: acquire TRTH through supported routes (for example Uniswap V4 pools once bootstrap liquidity exists), still on Base.
Never share seed phrases or “verify wallet” scams—legitimate flows only ask you to sign transactions in your wallet.
5. Hold to earn weekly rewards
Section titled “5. Hold to earn weekly rewards”TRTH distributes value through weekly (7-day) epochs. Hold at least 3.14 TRTH to stay eligible for holder rewards. Base, Bonus, and King split epoch incentives 45% / 45% / 10%.
You can also use the referral flow if you have a code: each deposit reserves up to a 20% (2000 BPS) referral pool cap; influencer tiers can raise payout rates without changing the fixed 21M supply cap.
6. Claim epoch rewards
Section titled “6. Claim epoch rewards”When an epoch completes and you’re eligible, open the app’s Claim section. The first 2 hours after epoch end are user-only; after that, opted-in third-party claimFor may apply a small fee. Review estimated rewards, network fees, and the king entry deadline (epochEnd + 1 day). Submit on Base, wait for confirmation, and verify balances.
If something fails, retry with a slightly higher gas cap, confirm you’re on the right network, and check status pages for Orchestrator / Indexer delays—on-chain claims remain authoritative once settled.
Security checklist: use hardware wallets for large amounts, double-check token addresses, and treat documentation as orientation—not financial advice.
